BUSTED: Comey Testifies DNC Denied FBI Request to Inspect Hacked Servers

The Director of the FBI, James Comey, admitted that the FBI didn’t examine the Democrat National Committee’s hacked computer servers, but made a deal in which the DNC are allowed to have a private security agency look after it, in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

According to reports from The Hill, the FBI request to receive a direct access to the DNC’s hacked computer servers but their request was denied.

Multiple different level-requests were made by the bureau according to Comey, but ultimately an agreement was struck with the DNC that a highly respected private agency would get the opportunity to get access and share what it found with investigators.

The director testified in a rare open session on Russian Interference in the election before the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Both the bureau and the DNC have been quibbling in news reports over whether the FBI asked to examine the servers directly, but according to BuzzFeed reports from an interview with the DNC, the FBI never requested to access to its servers after the breach.

However a senior law enforcement official disputed that characterization the next day.

The private security firm in question is “CrowdStrike” and it has published extensive forensic analysis backing up its assessment that the threat groups which infiltrated the DNC were connected with Russian intelligence.

“The FBI repeatedly stressed to DNC officials the necessity of obtaining direct access to servers and data, only to be rebuffed until well after the initial compromise had been mitigated,”  the official stated.

“This left the FBI no choice but to rely upon a third party for information. These actions caused significant delays and inhibited the FBI from addressing the intrusion earlier.”

The whole situation is incredibly suspicious from start to finish. The Democrats are even more worried now that they’ve lost the election and supposed undermining of our democracy, but that is not enough for them to turn over their servers to the FBI.

On top of that, the Dems have railed on President-elect Donald Trump for questioning intelligence reports politicized under the Obama administration – but they didn’t think it was fit to cooperate with the FBI under what they claim are such dire circumstances.
